Dr. W. Henry Lickorish P.Geol. - Structural Geology Consulting
I am a structural geologist specialising in analysis of geometric interpretations in oil, gas and mineral prospects. With a strong background in the smaller scale properties of fluid-flow and fault-seal through complex fault architectures, as well as larger scale tectonics and basin-modelling. With an extensive history of fieldwork, I have hands-on experience with rocks worldwide.
I have been providing structural geology services to the oil/gas and mining industries in company positions and as a consultant. Experience is worldwide with projects done in Africa, Europe, North America, South America, Asia and offshore areas. Structural analysis from all tectonic settings including foreland fold/thrust belts, rift margins, volcanic ocean margins, deltaic collapse, orogenic interiors, and salt tectonic structures.
I graduated from Cambridge University (UK) in 1988 with a B.A. in Geological Sciences,
and from the University of Calgary (Canada) in 1992 with a Ph.D. in Structural Geology,
followed by post-doctoral research positions at the University of Leeds (UK) and ETH - The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Switzerland).
